Tort is a lawsuit for damages against an individual(s) or defendant(s) who is at fault and responsible for the accident or has committed an act of negligence or a civil wrong against another party or parties. As the plaintiff, you must file a statement of claim within 2 years from the date of the accident. The two primary damages to claim are pain and suffering and loss of income.
